I was looking forward to this movie, maybe for some of the same reasons you were. I thought that some of the kids' "insights" were quite interesting (ex. "God won't be in your church if you don't invite Him right"...which I paraphrase a bit). I also liked Mr. Haggards "advice" to "use the cuteness now and then maybe you'll have some content when you're 30". I think it would interesting to follow up with the kids who were shown once they are in high school (or college). The kids were passionate about their faith, but I also felt like the love part was missing....but I'm starting to feel like that's missing from far too many 'Christians'.

This is an insightful post, Jen. I grew up spending a week each summer at North Florida Christian Service camp and it was nothing like your description of Jesus Camp. <br/><br/>"What are these kids going to be like when they grow up?" Just turn on the television and watch the typical hyped-up, wigged-out, peroxided, nit-wittery salvation show to find out.
