I thought that some of the kids’ “insights” were quite interesting (ex. “God won’t be in your church if you don’t invite Him right”…which I paraphrase a bit). I also liked Mr. Haggards “advice” to “use the cuteness now and then maybe you’ll have some content when you’re 30″. I think it would interesting to follow up with the kids who were shown once they are in high school (or college). The kids were passionate about their faith, but I also felt like the love part was missing….but I’m starting to feel like that’s missing from far too many ‘Christians’.

I grew up spending a week each summer at North Florida Christian Service camp and it was nothing like your description of Jesus Camp.

“What are these kids going to be like when they grow up?” Just turn on the television and watch the typical hyped-up, wigged-out, peroxided, nit-wittery salvation show to find out.
