I'm tired of it too. I read The DaVinci Code and admit it was hard, because of my beliefs, to get through the first 3 chapters. However, I knew it was JUST A NOVEL. A novel means fiction--not fact. Recently in the news, writers of non-fiction have been accused of using fiction in their work. Why accuse a writer of fiction of writing non-fiction? Dan Brown's not going to come out with statements of belief or non-belief in what he wrote--why should he? All the hype just helps him add to his wealth. I can defend my faith against any who views the book at more than fiction.
